Do I have to pay for my own background check?
Yes. All clients require a background check, which costs $30. This amount will be reimbursed in your first paycheck. Additionally, some clients may require a drug test and/or fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process. These costs will also be reimbursed in your first paycheck if applicable.
Is training paid?
No, training is not paid. As an independent contractor, you are not compensated for time spent in certification classes. Certification programs typically last 1 to 2 weeks, with daily sessions averaging 4 hours per day. Completion of the certification is required before you can begin working with the client.
How frequently are agents paid?
Agents are paid semi-monthly, on the 1st and 15th of each month. Some clients also offer daily pay options through the DailyPay app, allowing you to access earnings more frequently if desired.
Does Pearson Call Center provide equipment?
No, Pearson Call Center does not provide equipment. As this is a 1099 opportunity, you would be classified as an independent contractor and are therefore responsible for supplying your own equipment to fulfill the role.

What if I’m already registered with another company on Arise?
If you are currently registered with another company on the Arise® platform, that company must terminate your Master Service Agreement (MSA) before you can apply with us. Until your MSA is officially ended, you cannot join or register under another company on the platform.
